Gate-checked this on a flight last month and it survived two connections without a scratch on the stroller. The padding is thicker than I expected for a travel bag, and there's plenty of room left over for a diaper bag stuffed in alongside.

The zipper glides smoothly even when the bag is packed tight, which made shoving it into the overhead bin less of a battle than I expected. My stroller came out with zero scuffs after two connecting flights, and the padded lining clearly did its job.

Finally got to use this on a long-haul flight and my stroller came out completely unscratched, which honestly surprised me. The padding is thick enough that I didn't stress about baggage handlers at all, and it made maneuvering through the airport way less of a hassle.
