Compare the G5 Mushroom Bundle with buying the same accessories individually. See where you save and where you pay for extras you might not need.
Quick answer
If you need both a canopy and a footmuff for your G2, G3, or G5 stroller, the G5 Mushroom Bundle saves you roughly $57 compared to buying those two accessories separately. But if you only need one item or want a different color, buying individually gives you more flexibility.
What the bundle includes
The G5 Mushroom Bundle combines a G5 Stroller Canopy in Mushroom and a coordinating footmuff, plus matching harness pads and grab bar upholstery. The canopy offers UPF 50+ protection and is made with OEKO-TEX certified fabric. The footmuff extends coverage for cooler weather.
Buying these items separately would cost $228 at catalog prices. The bundle is priced at $171, a $57 savings. That discount is the main reason to choose the bundle.
When buying separately makes sense
If you already own a compatible canopy or footmuff, the bundle includes a duplicate. Similarly, if you prefer a different color or pattern for one item, the bundle locks you into the Mushroom scheme. Separate purchases let you mix and match across the G5 accessory line.
Also, if you only need one accessory right now—say just the canopy for sun protection—the bundle forces you to buy the footmuff earlier than you might want.
Bundle vs. separate: key trade-offs
- Price: Bundle costs $171 vs. $228 separately — you save $57.
- Color coordination: Bundle gives you a matching set in Mushroom. Separate purchase lets you choose different colors or patterns.
- Need for both items: Bundle assumes you want both canopy and footmuff. If you only need one, buying separately avoids paying for the other. Check your climate and stroller use: do you really need a footmuff year-round?
